Microsoft Dogs 1.0: A Microsoft Campus Scavenger Hunt Collectable

by asli 30. October 2009 23:44

October 28, 2009. Redmond, Washington. Microsoft Campus, Building 35. A slew of slate tiles the entrance to Building 35. Each tile sports the name of a Microsoft product release, along with the version and ship date.  Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Windows NT… all our familiar names.  And then we have:

Microsoft Dogs

Microsoft Dogs?  So my good friend BR in Building 35 doesn’t flinch when asked and says nonplussed1, “Oh yeah, totally. Don’t you remember the days when we wanted to get into multimedia releases? Yup. We shipped a bunch of stuff, including Microsoft Dogs.”

Add this to your Microsoft campus scavenger hunt list.

1. Nonplussed is the strangest word which means both completely surprised and completely unsurprised. In this usage above, it means unsurprised.
